Business Development Manager – Property Management

Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for real estate and property management? Our growing property management company is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new growth, strengthen client relationships, and play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the property management sector.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with property owners, investors, and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business growth targets.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client onboarding process and ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations and proposals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in sales or business development, ideally within property management or real estate.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities with a focus on closing deals.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and driven to exceed targets.
  • Ability to thrive both independently and within a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

Real Estate Agent

Are you experienced working with real estate investors, including multifamily and light commercial properties. This role is ideal for an agent who understands income-producing assets and values long-term client relationships over one-time transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent investors in the acquisition and disposition of single-family rentals, multifamily, and select commercial properties
  • Evaluate investment opportunities using NOI, cap rates, cash flow, and rent analysis
  • Collaborate with PMI NWI’s property management team to deliver a seamless acquisition-to-management experience
  • Advise clients on market conditions, portfolio strategy, and long-term performance
  • Build and maintain ongoing relationships with investor clients

Qualifications

  • Active real estate license (required)
  • Proven experience working with investors, rental portfolios, multifamily, or commercial assets
  • Strong understanding of income-producing real estate and investment metrics
  • Professional, responsive, and relationship-driven
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

Leasing Agent

As a Leasing Agent with PMI NWI, you’ll play a pivotal role in the leasing process—from making sure properties are rent-ready to welcoming new residents at move-in. You’ll use your eye for detail, communication skills, and customer service mindset to create positive experiences for both tenants and property owners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Property Preparation: Ensure properties are ready for marketing and move-in by coordinating cleaning, maintenance, and quality checks.
  • Lead Management: Follow up on leads for potential renters, review weekly showing reports, and adjust strategies based on feedback and performance metrics.
  • Financial Transactions: Process and collect first month’s rent payments and security deposits accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Marketing & Listing Coordination: Collaborate with the marketing department to list and promote properties. Install self-show boxes and signage on active listings.
  • Move-in Coordination: Work closely with the application team to schedule move-ins, conduct move-in evaluations, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new tenants.
  • Performance Tracking: Maintain and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) that support leasing goals and department success.

Qualifications

  • Previous property management or real estate experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with a strong sales orientation.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Profi ciency in property management software and Microsoft Offi ce Suite.
  • Knowledge of local real estate market, leasing laws, and fair housing regulations.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings as needed.
  • Real Estate License and/or CAM certification is a plus!
